– Priced at Rs 2.77 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi)
– Available in two colors
– Bookings open all over India
Honda 2Wheelers India has announced the launch of the BS6 compliant 2022 CB300R in our market for Rs 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Indian branch of the Japanese manufacturer had unveiled the 2022 iteration of the Neo-Sports Café inspired motorcycle during India Bike Week in December.
The company is still tense over the power and torque output figures of the BS6-compliant, 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, although leaked documents suggest the engine produces 31.1 horsepower at 9,000 rpm. By comparison, the BS4 version was tuned to deliver 30.4 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. The new bike also benefits from an assist and a sipper clutch mechanism.
Style cues remain similar to the BS4 model, although the 2022 CB300R now gets a black headlamp surround (for the black color variant), gold-tone upside-down front forks and dark radiator covers. Braking duties are handled by a 296mm disc in the front and a 220mm rotor in the rear. The safety net is operated by a dual channel ABS that works on the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to provide even braking from front to back, optimal body weight distribution and minimal rearward lift.
The 2022 CB300R is offered in two colors: Matte Steel Black and Pearl Spartan Red. The motorcycle bookings are open with Honda BigWing and Honda BigWing Topline dealers across India.
