Who we are
ADV Tourer is the love child of BikingSpirit and motorcycling adventure, born for showing the community what riding really translates to. We take the troubles and hardships of out of riding, only to replace it with fun and memorable experiences. We are a bunch of riders ourselves who not only believe in “Doing-It-Right” but also believe in doing it differently.
We have successfully operated in the Himalayas for three seasons. We have also conducted tours for OEMs.
Our mission is to show you the best possible experience on two wheels in a professional, friendly, safe and controlled manner. By filtering our vendors and choosing only the elite, we deliver a seamless experience from the moment you sign up with us. Rest assured & Ride assured.
What you get
You are in great hands even before your much awaited trip begins.
Loads of information about the trip. We also hand you a “ride manual” that extensively covers everything you need to know to prepare and ready yourself for the ride.
Off-Road training to develop and hone those showelling skills, so that you don’t worry about every stone you ride over. (Select Indian cities only)
Whether you’re arriving early at our start point or leaving later, we house you for the time you’re there.*
We put you up at the best places available in the region, while making sure that you get a good night’s sleep to get ready for the next day’s adventure. All accommodation facilities are clean & hygienic, and kept up to standards that are possible in the region.*
We provide one two-man tent per person so that your camping experience too, can keep up to our standards of making your trip memorable. Included with your very own tent is a padded mattress, a fluffy pillow, a clean sleeping bag and camping lantern to light up your cozy space.
All your meals are covered from start to end of the trip. Meals include breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and an endless flow of chai throughout the ride. We ensure that every rider is well hydrated and nourished during the ride. We provide terrain specific & weather specific beverages, and also cater to personal dietary preferences.
Oh, you’re also gonna have a wonderful time cooking while we camp amidst the breathtaking mountains.
Throw a leg over your steed, and leave the rest to us. Your precious cargo will follow (or sometimes lead) as we make our way through the blissful roads (and sometimes none) of the mountains.
Our dedicated on-board mechanic goes through a detailed checklist every morning on your motorcycle to ensure you have a glitch free ride and, springs into action the moment a nut gets loose.

Of course, that’s exactly where the difference is! We go beyond worlds to make things happen and to ensure the seamlessness of your experience.
We compile a lovely virtual memorabilia in full HD for you to show your grand-kids how their grandparents rocked it!

A short summary of the ride itself… [IN/Himalayas/03]
Our trip includes a bit of everything awesome. As we start from the nation\’s capital, we head towards the Amritsar border, keep sipping on those cold lassis in the hot sun and then head towards Udhampur. We then make our way to the ever gorgeous city of Srinagar for some delicious Kashmiri food. We end the day by scouring for the perfect place to pitch tents. After cooking ourselves a scrumptious meal, we hit the sack (literally) for the chilly night.
Skipping a heartbeat while there are goosebumps on yourself as you unzip the tent, you wake up to the breathtaking views of the majestic Himalayas. We load ourselves with a heavy breakfast to make way for the ride to come over the dusty, or if you\’re in luck – the slushy Zojila Pass and then to pay tribute to the fallen selfless souls at the Kargil war memorial. We call it a night at the comfort of our hotel rooms in Kargil.
We make our way to the first major checkpoint in our journey – Leh. A special dinner awaits this little accomplishment of ours. Unwind all you want as the next day holds a welcome change what we would like to call \”chilling\”
Next day, you can explore the city, grab souvenirs for your loved ones, and get familiar with how this small city of amazing people make Leh one of the most \”want-to-go\” destinations in India. Next in the afternoon\’s agenda is a quick visit to have some chai with garma-garam Maggi that\’ll get cold in the chill of the world\’s highest motorable road. Grab some photos and head back down over the \”slice\” (slush+ice) to end the night back in the warmth of the wood laden hotel room!
This is D-Day! We make our way over the mighty Chang La onto the eastern side of the Ladakhi region. Get welcomed by the hearty hospitality of the Ladakhis into the barely visited micro-town of Merak, a village nestled next to the ever famous Pangong Tso lake. You know Pangong Tso, don\’t you?
We end the night under the stars like you\’ve never seen before! Get ready to be zapped by the sight of the Milky way!
Alright, so it\’s a lovely sunny morning as the chilly winds blow over the freezing water body. The nice hot tea makes you wanna hug the mug and not move a muscle, but alas, we need to move to a much more prettier sight forward.. as we head south into lesser explored (by others) territory, we part ways with the lake on our left and ride alongside the Chinese border.
After a nice long ride over absolutely no roads, a few streams and massive hypnotic plains, we arrive at the Tso Kar road, that leads us to Thukje. If we make it in time for sun down, we\’d probably get the most mesmerizing sight of the big ball of fire setting into the horizon. We then, park ourselves into our accommodation just in time for a hearty dinner.
The next day takes us over to Keylong, a small town just a tad bit north of the famous Tandi petrol pump. We stop for a bit to gaze at the amazing views of three Rivers meeting at one point, and then move southward towards Manali. At Manali, we can start behaving like civilized people that we are, and socialize with the locals around. Leaving the sights of the great and mighty Himalayas, we then head back towards Delhi to end our journey.
Once the Motorcycles and other cargo are handed over, you can then get into your airport transfers and be on your way to tell your friends back home about the amazing experience that you had!
