After the Indian market, Honda has unveiled the 2022 CB300R for the international markets. The BS6 compliant model, which is already available in the Indian market, costs Rs 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Euro5 compliant model retains the 286cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. Mated to a six-speed manual transmission, the updated engine is tuned to produce 30.7 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 27.5 Nm at 7,750 rpm. Apart from Euro5 compliance, the updated model also benefits from an assist and a slipper clutch mechanism.
The 2022 model will continue to feature the Neo Sports Café style. The feature list includes full LED lighting and an LCD display with a gear indicator. The motorcycle will be available in four colors on international markets. The existing Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Candy Chromosphere Red paint themes are now complemented by Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matte Pearl Agile Blue.
The hardware on the 2022 CB300R consists of 41mm Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) USD front forks and a pre-adjustable rear monoshock to handle the suspension tasks. The braking setup includes a 296mm disc at the front and a 220mm rotor at the rear, while the safety net includes two-channel ABS that works with the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU).
