Royal Enfield Interceptor Scrambler spotted for the first time during testing

– Interceptor Scrambler spotted testing

– Get two in one exhaust header

– Based on Interceptor 650

Royal Enfield has begun road testing of the scrambler version of the Interceptor. This is the first time a scramble mule has been spotted on Indian roads.

The spotted test mule looks almost like the Interceptor 650, but there’s one change that clearly shows the engine’s scrambler intent: the exhaust. The exhaust header is different. It’s a two-in-one with a muffler and the exhaust pipe is shorter too. This prototype is one of the first and we’ll be seeing more mules in the coming months.

According to our sources, the Interceptor Scrambler project is delayed. It was previously scheduled to launch in early 2024, but it has been delayed by a few months. When it launches, the Interceptor Scrambler will sit above the 650 version and could become one of the best looking Royal Enfields ever.
