2021 Yamaha R15 V3 launched; gets new colors
So let’s start with the hottest piece of news about one of the country’s hottest motorcycles: the Yamaha R15. It couldn’t have been a coincidence that the R15-based MT-15 was the second most-watched news item on Biking Spirit. Well, the 2021 Yamaha MT-15 made its debut in Thailand, again with new colors. Compared to the model sold in India, the Thai-spec MT-15 got some funky colors like the Metallic Gray with red wheels and blue graphics. There were also Racing Blue and Metallic Black liveries.
For India, however, the MT-15 will get a new Monster Energy livery that will be sold alongside Ice Flue Vermilion, Dark Matt Blue and Metallic Black colors.

However, the Indian masses seemed to be going crazy with the XSR155 on the internet, which led us to believe that Yamaha could launch the motorcycle in our country. So we wrote an op-ed about why it would suit the country, and we created a whole new segment of our own. Well, instead of the XSR155, Yamaha offered an India-specific version of the latter in the form of the FZ-X. We had it as our long term and we wrote down our experience with the motorcycle.
