Triumph Trident 660 recalled in India, USA due to sidestand issues!

– Trident 660 recalled due to sidestand issues

– Stand can bend over time

– Wrong material was used to make it

Triumph Motorcycle has recalled some of the Trident 660 in the US. The recall affects the motorcycle’s side stand.

According to the recall, the sidestand can bend over time, causing the bike to become unstable and tip over. This can happen over time as the bike would continue to lean further before tipping over completely. The third supplier used wrong raw material to manufacture these side stands.

A total of 314 units of the Trident were affected by this recall. These bikes were produced between February 7, 2021 and May 15, 2021. The company said the rest of the new motorcycles did not have this problem.

The Trident 660 is currently the best-selling Triumph bike in India. But as of now, the brand has not yet issued a recall for the Indian market.

Update: We have received an update from Triumph India. Trident 660s in India are also being recalled over this matter. We are awaiting the exact number of units included in the recall in India.
