– Yamaha YZF R15 V4 gets more expensive
– Prices increased by Rs 2,000
The Yamaha YZF R15 V4 has become more expensive for the second time since its launch in September 2021. After a price increase of Rs 3,000 in November, the bike has recently become even more expensive at Rs 2,000. The latest variant prices (ex-showroom) of the YZF R15 V4 are listed below:
metallic red: Rs 1.72,800
dark knight: Rs 1,73,800
Racing Blue: Rs 1,77,800
Metallic Gray (M): Rs 1,82,800
Monster energy (M): Rs 1,82,800

Yamaha gave the R15 an extensive update last year that only made it more desirable. It has a design inspired by the larger YZF R7 with thin DRLs flanking an LED projector headlamp. Even the fairing design has been slightly revised, making it look bigger now. In addition, the motorcycle is more equipped with modern features such as a Bluetooth console, traction control system and a quick shifter (optional).
The engine is propelled by a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with variable valve actuation (VVA) functionality that helps the engine spin freely in the top end. It produces 18.1 hp of power and 14.2 Nm of peak torque and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The hardware package is also premium with components such as upside-down forks, an aluminum swingarm and a delta box frame.
