Last week not only brought some pleasing updates on new launches, but also a major recall for Royal Enfield Classic 350 owners in India. And for the Busa fans, our track review of the Suzuki Hayabusa also went up. So without further ado, let’s run through the top five bike updates from last week.
TVS Apache RTR 165 RP launched
TVS has introduced a new series called Race Performance and the first offering is the new Apache RTR 165 RP. It is exorbitantly priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex showroom) and will be limited to just 200 units. Kawasaki Z900 new color
Kawasaki released a new color option for its mid-weight street bike, the Z900. The new color scheme is called ‘Candy Lime Green Type 3’ and complements the existing Metallic Spark Black trim. The prices of the bike will also increase from January 1, 2022, but it will be a meager increase of Rs 8,000. At the moment, the Z900 is pegged at Rs 8.42 lakh (ex-showroom).
Triumph Special Edition Models
Triumph launched the entire Gold Line Edition in India with a range of five motorcycles: Bonneville T100, Bonneville T120, Bonneville T120 Black, Bonneville Speedmaster, Bonneville Bobber and the Street Scrambler. The British brand also gave something special to Rocket 3 and Street Twin buyers in the form of 221 and EC1 special edition models respectively.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 recalled
Royal Enfield has recalled the new Classic 350 due to a potential problem with the brake response bracket attached to the motorcycle’s swingarm. The problem is alleged to occur on select single-channel ABS and rear drum brake variants of the Classic produced between September 1, 2021 and December 5, 2021. Company officials will be contacting the owners of the affected units shortly.
Suzuki Hayabusa track review
